Ladycat 8th A team downs Tison, 36-6

Aledo Middle School’s 8th Grade A team jumped out to a 15-0 lead after one quarter to run away from Weatherford Tison Thursday at home.

Elizabeth Griffin led Aledo with 10 points, while Alyssa Todd and Breleigh Mayer each scored 7. Lily Sale added 6 points. Also scoring were Tori Cutler, 3, Jaylee Owens 2, Brenna Clock 2 and Jordyn Edington with 1.

Tison scored all six of its points in the second quarter to cut the halftime lead to 20-6. However, the Ladycats outscored Tison 18-0 in the second half.
