Aledo freshman running back Brock Evans had three touchdowns on runs of 7, 1, and 1 yard as the Aledo Freshman A team took a 21-6 victory over Martin Thursday in Aledo.
Martin took an early 6-0 lead when a third-and-13 reverse went for a 64-yard touchdown run on its first possession of the game.
Aledo then scored on its first two possessions to take command of the game.
After the early score by Martin, the Warriors got no farther than the Aledo 35 the rest of the game. Martin only gained three first downs in the entire game. The Aledo defense also held Martin to less than 100 yards of offense for the game despite the big play.
The defense also got a fumble recovery from Noah Vega.
Evens finished with 76 yards rushing. Dalton Deary led the Bearcats with 109 rushing yards.
The Aledo B team also Martin by a score of 50-6.
