Ladycats Down Weatherford, 53-31

The Aledo Ladycats used a 17-0 run to open the second half to pull away from Weatherford for an easy 53-31 road victory early Monday afternoon.

Aledo held a 25-19 lead at the half but turned the game into an easy victory with the run to start the third quarter.

Addyson Hebel and Presley Hull each had 11 points to lead Aledo, while Kylie Anderson added nine points.

Six different players scored in the decisive third period. Anderson, Sophie Smith and Kenzie Grau each hit three-pointers in the 17-0 Aledo run to open the second half.

Aledo improved to 2-3 with the win. The Ladycats are right back in action Tuesday with an afternoon game at Peaster.
