Aledo Shuts out Denton, 77-0

Aledo closed out the regular season with a 77-0 victory Thursday at Denton to finish as the undefeated district champions.

Aledo did not punt and scored the first eight times they had the ball to take a 56-0 lead at halftime. In seven district games, the Bearcat outscored opponents by more than 400 points.

Aledo had strong performances from quarterback Lincoln Tubbs, receiver Kaydon Finley and the entire defensive.

Aledo will open the playoffs next week.
