Peaster sophomore Payton Hull rained down three-pointers over Aledo’s 2-3 zone to score a game-high 37 points in the Lady Greyhounds 76-43 victory Tuesday afternoon.
Peaster used its full-court press and up-tempo offense to make Aledo play much faster than it wanted to play. The fast-paced Greyhounds often found Hull open outside the three-point line.
Peaster outscored Aledo in every quarter, leading 19-12 after the first quarter and 31-19 at the half. The fast pace seemed to take a toll on Aledo as Peaster ran away with the game in the third quarter. The Lady Greyhounds started the quarter with a 11-1 run and outscored Aledo 28-10 quarter.
Claire Byars, Addyson Hebel and Audrey Pearce each had 9 points to lead Aledo.
Peaster improved to 7-1 while Aledo fell to 2-4.
Aledo is now off until Dec. 1, when they will travel to Stephenville to play the Honeybees in a non-district game.
