On the Bearcats’ second possession, Aledo faced a third-and-24 when Rapp found Hudson Knox between two defenders 25 yards down the sideline (see the photo above). Knox then outraced the defenders down the sideline for a 77-yard score to make it 13-0 with 4:29 left in the first quarter.

Keys finished the Aledo scoring with an 11-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter.

The Aledo offense slowed down after the hot start, but the Aledo defense kept up the pressure on Weatherford.

On fourth-and-three, Weatherford quarterback Colton Burch three a 30-yard TD pass to Isaiah King.
