Bearcats Advance to Tourney Final with Shootout Win over Eaton

After regulation ended in a 1-1 tie, the Bearcats got penalty kick goals from Micco Little, Clay Murador, Tyler Oetinger and Tommy Beaux while goalie Ryland Yates stopped the last two Eaton kicks to send Aledo to the final of the Moritz-Kia Tournament of Champions.

Aledo opened the scoring with 20:07 left in the first half on a header by Logan Reiter.

The game was delayed by lightning just before halftime and the second half was played in the rain.

Eaton tied the score with a goal with 23 minutes left in the second half.

The victory keeps Aledo undefeated on the season and sends the Bearcats to tomorrow’s championship game.
