Seventh Grade Ladycats Run Away From Weatherford Hall

The Aledo 7th grade girls basketball teams opened the season with a sweep of Weatherford Hall Thursday at Aledo High School.

The Ladycat A team jumped out to a 12-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back while rolling to a 32-6 victory.

N. Anderson finished with 12 points, while A. Steffe and L. St. Peters each finished with 6 points.

Anderson had six of her points in the first quarter to help the Ladycats jump out to that 12-0 lead.

The B team won by a score of 32-11 with nine different players scoring for Aledo. Seven players each scored four points in the balance offensive attack.
