Aledo tennis team’s match at Carroll rained out

The Aledo and Carroll tennis players were only a few games into the first sets of the morning when heavy rain started at the Carroll tennis courts Friday morning.

Aledo opened the fall team tennis season  on Aug. 6 with a 15-4 win at Mansfield Lake Ridge High School. The Bearcats will host Eaton and Ennis High Schools Tuesday in their home opening matches.

The Bearcats return 10 starters from last year’s regional semifinalist team.
