The Ladycat volleyball team won three matches on the opening day of the Mansfield Tournament to improve to 3-1 on the season.
Aledo lost its first set of the day to Keller Central, 25-15, before finishing t he day by winning six consecutive sets. The Ladycats rallied to win the next to sets against Central, 25-13, 25-22.
The Ladycats then swept Mansfield Lake Ridge and Dumas. Aledo won 25-14 and 25-20 against Lake Ridge. The sweep against Dumas came on scores of 25-19 and 25-12.
Aledo will have matches against Waco Midway, Arlington and Mansfield in day two of the tournament.
