Tennis team opens fall season

The Aledo varsity tennis team opened the fall season Tuesday at Chisholm Trail High School in Saginaw with matches against the Rangers and Frisco Reedy.

The team has nine more matches in the falls season, including four at home.

The team will host Byron Nelson High School at 2 p.m. on Aug. 16. On Sept. 7 the Racquet Cats will host Wichita Falls at 11 a.m. in a district match. Aledo will host Liberty Christian on Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. before closing their home schedule with a district match against Abilene Wylie at 11 a.m. on Sept. 21.
