Ladycats Sweep Arlington Lamar

The Aledo Ladycats swept Arlington Lamar, 25-11, 25-13, 25-23 to improve to 15-6 on the season.

The Ladycats went on decisive runs in the middle of each of the first two sets of Tuesday’s home match. Aledo led 8-6 early in the first set then went on a 17-5 run to close out the set.

In the second set, Aledo led 6-5 when a 6-0 run help the Ladycats to run away with the second set.

Lamar got off to a 3-0 lead in the third set before the Ladycats went on a 4-0 run to take their first lead. The teams exchanged the lead several time in the set. After Lamar took a 16-15 lead in the third set, Aledo went on a 6-1 run to help close out the match.
