Aledo and Joshua were tied 8-8 in the first set when the Ladycats went on an 8-1 run to take control. Aledo had another 5-0 run with Vivian Parker serving to make it 24-13.

Aledo jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the fourth set, but Joshua went on a 5-0 run to tie the score at 6-6. The game was tied at 24-24 when the Ladycats scored in a side out then closed it out by scoring with Mattie Gantt serving.
Aledo, 8-7 overall, will play in the Volleypalozza tournament this weekend and will have a game at Weatherford next Tuesday.
