Ladycat Softball Looks Strong in First Scrimmages

The Ladycat softball team opened the scrimmage portion of their 2023 season at home Saturday against Waco Midway and Eaton high schools.

The Ladycats closed out the day with a 2-0 win over Eaton. Aledo got strong pitching as Eaton didn’t hit any balls out of the infield.

Returning starting pitchers Nathalie Touchet and Brenlee Gonzales each pitched two scoreless innings.

Aledo pushed in two runs with a sacrifice bunt and a double steal. Texas Ray had several hard hit balls and the Ladycats had two extra base hits.
