Aledo Rolls Past Mesquite Horn, 11-0

Delaney Rosser had a three-run triple off the wall in right center field in the bottom of the fifth inning to end Aledo’s 11-0 win over Mesquite Horn Tuesday at Aledo.

The Ladycats scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to run-rule the Jaguars. Rosser drove in five runs in the game, and pitcher Taylor McKean threw a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts for the 7-1 Ladycats.

Brooklyn Taloa drove a home run down the left-field line to start the big fifth inning for Aledo. Rosser also had a two-run single in Aledo’s four-run fourth inning.

Kyleigh Pawlak also had a pair of singles and an RBI for Aledo.

Aledo plays in a tournament this weekend, then opens district play Tuesday at Brewer.
