Aledo Ladycats Sweep bidistrict matchup against Colleyville Heritage

The Aledo volleyball team took a 25-23, 25-22, 25-21 victory over the Panthers toopen the playoffs.

Top ranked Aledo improves to 38-3 on the season. While each of the three games were close, the Ladycats made the plays late to close out each game. A late pair of aces help Aledo close out the first game.

Senior Alyssa Todd led Aledo with 15 kills and 20 diggs.

Kenley Hamilton had two aces, while Todd, Kailey Hamilton and Karsyn Evans each had one ace.

Aledo plays Paschal at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Arlington ISD Athletic Complex in the next round of the playoffs. Aledo defeated Paschal, 24-16, earlier this season in a 3-game sweep, 25-13, 25-17, 25-17.
