Aledo 8th B/C team shuts out Granbury 42-0

The Aledo 8th grade middle school defense started the scoring with a safety less then two minutes into the game, then the offense got on the field and quickly turned the game into the 42-0 victory for the combined B and C squads Tuesday against Granbury.

Quarterback Brant threw two touchdowns.

It took just one play for the offense to score its first TD. Tubbs threw a 31-yard pass to Chavez then added the PAT run to make it 10-0.

The Aledo offense ran just eight plays in the entire first half, but scored four touchdowns. The Bearcats had scoring drives of one, three, three and one play in the first half.

Brant threw for 61 yards and had a 13 yard TD pass to Zachary Reynolds in addition to the TD pass to Chavez.
