District 5-5A announced the remainder of the district calendar this weekend, with the Zone Playoff games set for this week.
Aledo and Timberview each finished in first place in the two zones and will meet Thursday at Mansfield R.L Anderson stadium.
Timberview enters the game with a 5-0 record, while Aledo is 4-1, with a non-district loss to Cedar Hill.
The remainder of the Aledo football schedule:
- 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 vs. Mansfield Timberview at R.L. Anderson Stadium
- 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 vs. Joshua* at Bearcat Stadium
- 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at Cleburne (Yellow Jacket Stadium)
- 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 vs. Burleson at Bearcat Stadium
- 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4 vs. Waco University at Bearcat Stadium
