11 Aledo Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

Aledo had 11 senior athletes sign national letters of intent to play for college teams on Wednesday, National Signing Day.

The group includes 10 football players from Aledo’s State Championship team and a golfer.

Golfer Ben Huxtable signed his scholarship offer with Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

Two football players, Colt Ellison and Wyatt Harris, signed letters of intent with Texas Christian University.

Cameron Callaway signed with Army, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

Deven Daugherty and Tre Owens both signed with Midwestern State University.

Logan Escamilla signed with Tarleton State University.

Cayden Glasgow signed with Texas Wesleyan University.

Avery Jackson signed to play for Howard Payne University.

Chandler Knandel signed his letter of intent with the University of Central Arkansas.

Colby Thomas signed to play at East Central University.

The football team was also given an award from Max Preps for finishing the season ranked 17th in it’s national football poll.
